Academics

Academic Philosophy: Our purpose is to educate the whole child to become a responsible member of society.

We are able to accomplish this through the cooperative efforts of parents, teachers, parish and community. We believe that we teach with Jesus Christ at the center of our lives, as we seek to develop the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically. Children need challenges, high expectations, consistent limits and direction, which help them develop reverence, responsibility and respect. Students must also accept the consequences of their choices and actions. Curriculum: Our basic curriculum includes: religion, math, science, social studies, reading and phonics, writing and language arts, and Title I.

We want our students to have a well-rounded education. To that end, our special programs are designed to help our students realize their full potential; personally, socially, and academically. We offer: • Art • Library • Athletics programs • Physical education • Academic clubs • Student Leadership • Honor roll recognition • Special needs programs • Music • Community service projects • Computer lab & instruction • Science lab • Weekly student liturgy.
