Good afternoon!

Catholic Schools week is coming soon Feb 1-5! We have a full week of fun activities and service projects planned to help us celebrate our school community. Please consider joining us, and we want to encourage our Grandparents and Special Friends to come on Thursday Feb 4 for a reception, activities and most importantly, church with our students. I have attached a schedule to today’s Cougar Mail so be sure to read it all the way through. This will be very important as students will want to be sure and dress up each day.

Enrollment for next year also begins Feb 1. Please enroll early to help us plan ahead for next year.

Over the past few days several important pieces of paper went home, Communion permission for Grades 3-8, Intent to Enroll forms for students K3-7, and the “What St. Catherine’s Means to Our Family” project. I have attached them to this email in case you did not receive them. Please get all these important forms back to us right away.

Thank you for all you do to support our school.

Happy New Year!!! I pray that each of you enjoyed the Christmas holidays. It is always nice to have the time to get together with family and friends. On Monday the teachers and I welcomed the students back to school. They seemed to be rested and ready to tackle whatever challenges might come their way. Second quarter ends on Friday, January 29. Please remind your son/daughter to check to see that all work is turned in.

Attached is this week’s Cougar Mail. Please be sure to read and keep up with all the comings and goings here at St. Catherine’s. Today our students signed the “Snowball Promise”. I have attached it here so you can discuss with your child how to behave safely and responsibly on our playground.

Tomorrow we will be sending home a letter from Fr. Larry to help get us prepared for celebrating Mass during Catholic Schools week. I have included it with this email and you can look for it in your child’s back pack if they are in grades 3-8.

Don’t forget tomorrow is Free Dress Friday and I will be buying pizza for classes with 100% attendance. Please be sure to send your child to school tomorrow.
