St. Catherine School is constantly growing and evolving, and we welcome support from the community. Under the new leadership of Pastor Fr. Larry Chapman and Interim Principal Ms. Lisa Burton, the St. Catherine community excitedly looks toward the future of our school and extended opportunities and resources for our students. These opportunities and resources simply could not be possible without the financial and practical support of people in the community. If you are willing and able to share your time, talents and resources with our school, we would be most grateful.
There are many ways to get involved in St. Catherine School, including volunteering in the classroom and serving the St. Catherine Food Pantry. The quality of education at St. Catherine Catholic School is enhanced through many hours of volunteering by parents, grandparents, community members and retired adults who get joy from giving back.
Each St. Catherine Catholic School parent is asked to commit to a minimum of five hours of service during the school year. We have opportunities for parents to be involved during the school week in addition to special events and projects. Please contact the office for weekday volunteer opportunities.
St. Catherine School also has ongoing reading and math enhancement programs conducted by dedicated volunteer organizations outside of classroom instruction through Milwaukee Succeeds, Reading Corps and Catapult Learning. If you’re interested in a longer-term dedicated volunteer position to nurture student development in a one-on-one setting, contact us and we can find the best fit for your time commitment and interest.
We welcome new and creative ways to engage the community in supporting our school. If you would like to become part of the exciting momentum at St. Catherine’s, please contact Minnie Acevedo, our Administrative Assistant.
